1. Concept

Project conception is where the first ideas of a project are thought about before commencement into detailed design. This follows the search for the project's location which CBC carefully works with the developers to achieve.

2. Design

Design occurs before the project begins, the architects and CBC work closely and are responsible for putting the client’s ideas on to paper.

3. Consent

CBC work with the architect/designer to give them the information they need to apply for the building consent. Council grants the building consent when proposed work meets the requirements of the building code.

4. Procurement

The procurement stage is managed collaboratively with our Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to obtain not only the right equipment, labour, and materials necessary for the build but to make sure we select the right company for the job.

5. Mobilisation

This stage consists of preparatory work and operations necessary for the movement and establishment of the site, it is our short interval before the construction.

6. Construction

Our Construction Phase is the physical process of building. This stage involves input from the whole team but most and foremost the Site Manager who is placed on site to manage all activity.

7. Commissioning

Once our team is happy with the building works and installations, the equipment needs to be inspected and tested to ensure every operational component of the project is working.

8. Completion

The Completion phase is the closing out of the project, including code of compliance and the handover to the client being achieved.
